Video Beast first came to Continental to work on Beyond the Milky Lust in early 2012.  What they had written was a dreamy and dark psychedelic trip that called for a lush layered guitar sound and deep heavy drums. Each song exuded cinematic vibes that were similar to certain films. This was especially true when songs were mixed in certain ways. During the mixdown we tried to bring that vibe to life.
